The Petro Jacyk Program for the Study of Ukraine
Established in 2001, with the support of Peter Jacyk and the Education Foundation, the Petro Jacyk Program for the Study of Ukraine focuses on contemporary Ukraine as well as its history and culture. The program actively encourages scholars in Ukrainian studies at the University of Toronto and Ukrainianists at other North American institutions to develop joint projects, and facilitates the study of Ukraine by organizing workshops, conferences, lectures and seminars.

The Petro Jacyk Central and East European Resource Centre
Located at the University of Toronto, Canada’s largest University, the Petro Jacyk Resource Centre at Robarts Library provides a centralized location for more than 2000 reference volumes in 20 languages and special collections in paper and microfilm. Specialist staff provides reference service and instruction, produces printed and online research, hosts workshops and seminars. The Center was established in March 1995 and supports activities of the Centre for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (CERES) and the Department of Slavic Languages and Literature.
